From the Streets of South America to the UK

Rewind to 2023…

A four-month solo journey across South America became the catalyst for my abstract paintings. Something changed for me on that trip through colour, movement, and experience. I returned home just needing to express it.

Back on the island of Guernsey, I picked up a brush and let instinct take over. Painting daily throughout that summer, I developed a style exploring flow, rhythm, and emotion.

Since then, my work has evolved into a visual exploration of feeling, shaped by music, connection, and moments that are hard to put into words. Each piece acts as a diary entry, capturing something internal and translating it through colour.

Imagine that euphoric feeling you get listening to a song you love, or being in the moment with friends, or that sense of achieving something —that’s what I aim to capture on canvas, the feeling you can’t put into words. Not just how something looks, but how it feels.

Travel, new experiences, and human connection continue to shape my work, constantly feeding new layers into what I create.

Colorful umbrellas hanging above a cobblestone street with people walking, shops with vibrant storefronts, and buildings with European-style architecture.
View of a hilly urban neighborhood with densely packed brick buildings and colorful rooftops, under a partly cloudy sky with mountains in the background.
Colorful mural of a hummingbird with vibrant feathers on a white wall, surrounded by abstract plants and shapes. There are umbrellas and a person in the foreground.
A fire performer shooting a large flame into the air during a fire show at night, with a crowd of spectators watching and taking photos on a sandy outdoor venue decorated with paper lanterns.
